Labrodorite Half Moon

Labradorite displays an iridescent optical effect (or schiller) known as labradorescence - where the surface of the stone seems to shift colour.

Labradorite comes from Canada, where the native Inuit people believed it had fallen from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis.

This piece is set in sterling silver and presented on an Italian Sterling Silver curb chain.
