Garnet gets its name from the Latin word for 'seed' (granate) due to its resemblance to pomegranate seeds. It is thought to symbolie regeneration and vitality. It is the birthstone for January.
Our garnet studs measure 5mm x 5mm. We have set them in a hand carved sterling silver claw.
